Built for Remote.

Off-grid work in remote locations demands a different standard — reliable systems, proper certification, and an engineer who understands what's at stake when there's no grid to fall back on.

01

NAPIT Accredited

All work is certified and compliant. You get the paperwork, the sign-off, and the peace of mind — whether it's building regulations, insurance, a planning condition or a commercial handover.

02

Off-Grid Specialists

We don't do token off-grid jobs. We've designed and installed Victron-based systems, wired remote properties with no grid connection, and commissioned primary generators for sites that depend on them entirely.

03

Happy to Travel

Remote Highland locations are exactly the kind of work we're here for. We'll travel for the right project — give us a call and we'll have a straight conversation about whether it makes sense.

Victron Energy Systems, Properly Installed

We build our off-grid systems around Victron Energy equipment — the standard for serious off-grid installations — with remote monitoring, so your system can be checked and supported without waiting for an engineer to reach the site.

Common Questions

Straight answers before you get in touch.

Will you travel to the Highlands and islands?
Yes — remote Highland properties, the Western Isles, Orkney, Shetland and other island and rural sites are exactly the kind of work we take on. Off-grid installs and generator projects are worth a conversation wherever they are. Call us and we'll be straight with you about whether it works.
Can you supply the generator as well as install it?
Yes. We can supply, install and commission generators, or install equipment you've already sourced. Either way it gets done properly and certified.
What does NAPIT accreditation mean for me?
It means the work is independently assessed, certified and legally compliant. You get a certificate of completion that satisfies building regulations, insurers and mortgage lenders — something an unaccredited contractor can't provide.
Do you offer ongoing servicing and maintenance?
Yes. Remote generators in particular need regular attention to stay reliable. We're happy to discuss ongoing service arrangements — especially important when you're depending on the system entirely.
Can one contractor handle the whole job?
Yes — that's the point. We design and install the off-grid or generator system and we're fully qualified for the general electrical work around it: distribution boards, wiring, lighting, three-phase supplies. One contractor, one certificate, one person responsible.
How do I get a quote?
Use the contact form below, give us a call on 07356 289964, or drop us an email. For most jobs we'll want to carry out a site visit before providing a detailed quote — but we can often give you a ballpark over the phone first.
